Obituary for Anthony Edward Newcomb
Anthony Edward Newcomb 63, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his home with his loving family by his side following a brief illness. He was born on December 23, 1948 in Goodrich, Michigan to the late Harvey Edward and Betty Jean (Swanton) Newcomb. He served his country in the Army and then later worked in the construction business as Lather. He was a very caring, giving person and always had a positive attitude. He loved fishing and NASCAR. He is survived by Connie Jean Arndt, children Ron Anthony Newcomb Tempe, Arizona, Bobbie Jean Holbrook, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Michele Leigh Newcomb, Wyoming, Michigan, eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, four Brothers Glenn (Madonna) Newcomb, John (Sherry) Newcomb, David (Cheryl) Newcomb all of Sanford, MI, Donald (Charlotte) Newcomb, Hope, MI, half brothers Robert (Stacy) Daily of Aztec, New Mexico and Steve (Sue) Newcomb of Hale, Michigan. Two sisters Carol (John) Wild and Darlene Ranck of Sanford, two half sisters Ruth Ann Murchinson of Sevierville, Tennessee and Ruth (Ron) DeFoy of Harrison, MI and one step sister Charyl Vaughn of Coleman, Michigan. He is predeceased by one brother Michael Allen Newcomb. In accordance with Anthony’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life is being planned for a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
