Anthony John Reale (Tony aka A.J.)
Gladwin, Michigan
Anthony John Reale, 83, Beloved husband of Corrine Reale, passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2015. He was born in Detroit to the late Vincenzo and Rosa (Aiello) Reale.
He graduated from Henry Ford Trade School and served in the Army during the Korean War. He married his best friend, Connie, moved to Waterford where they raised their family and he worked for the United States Postal Service. After retiring they moved to Gladwin, MI. They were happily married for 59 years. He enjoyed stamp collecting, hunting, bowling, playing cards and bird watching. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings and the Detroit Lions.
Besides his wife Corrine, Anthony is survived by his two daughters; Cori Runyan, Laurie (David) Kettlewell; grandchildren Lisa(Ryan)Rohraff, Sean (Kaylin) Kettlewell; great grandchildren Brenden and Dylan Rohraff; brothers and sisters; Vincent Reale, Frances Carlisi, Louise Nizza, Sal(Justine) Reale; brother and sister in laws Grace Buckman, Joyce (Sam) Maltese, Mag (Tom) Jones, Pat (Jerry) Gunsch, Roy Buckman, Barb Soave, Jimmy Guilliat and Ron Maylart. He was preceded in death by Frances Reale, Joseph Carlisi,
Jerry and Mary Reale,Mary and Thomas Riccabono, Jim Nizza, Jerome Buckman, Kenneth Buckman, Marty Buckman, Frank Soave, Anthony (Bo) Buckman, Mary Jo Guilliat and Phylis (Bucky) Maylart and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services and Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM on May 18, 2015 at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Elk Khurafeh Shriners. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
