Mrs. Bennington 75 passed away suddenly on Tuesday May 28, 2013 at her home following a lingering illness. She was born Harbor Springs, Michigan to the late Walter &Arda (Jolls) Cook. She married Ronald Bennington on August 22, 1959 in Petoskey, he survives her. She was a member of the Gladwin First United Methodist Church, the bible study group, the MNA Walk and the Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Gladwin Auxiliary
Surviving her besides her husband of 53 years are their children Victoria (Vicky) & Jason Ballard, Dawn & Lary Hocken and Susan & Randy Waterson; 2 grand children Angela & Alton Owen and Joshua & Cassandre Hocken; great grandchildren Alexander Kevin Hocken and one due in December; a brother Bert Cook and a sister Pauline Chorley. She was preceded in death by a brother George Cook and a sister Jean Donner.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 1, 2013 at 12 Noon from the Gladwin First United Methodist Church with Pastor David Amstutz presiding Committal service will be held Monday June 3, 2013 at 11 am at Meadowview Memorial Gardens, Davison, Michigan. Friends may call at the Sisson Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 8 pm. On Saturday Mrs. Bennington will lie in state at the church from 11 am until time of services at Noon.
