Mrs. Condra 94 passed away peacefully at Gladwin Pines on June 7, 2018 following a brief illness. She was born in Gladwin on May 14, 1924 to the late William & Eva (Garden) Ogg. She married Wayne White and Ruben Condra and was preceded in death by them. Avis worked in Oregon and California as a nursing assistant for many years before coming back to Gladwin. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, played the piano and enjoyed being around her family.
She is survived by two sister-in-laws: Wanda Ogg and Dorothy Ogg; 2 step daughters: Odena Peterson and Dorinda Sansoucie; 8 step grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers Newell (Lois), Lyle, Grant (Mary), Glenn (Helen) and Jay Ogg; two sisters Jeane Ogg and Ruth (Floyd)Crockett.
Funeral services will be held Monday June 11, 2018 at 2 pm from the Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Reynolds presiding with burial in Ridge Cemetery. Family will be present at the funeral chapel on Sunday from 4 to 8 pm and on Monday from 1 to time of services. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Gladwin Hospice.
