Obituary for Betty A. Salciccioli
Betty A. Salciccioli, age 74, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born June 4, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Melvin and Christine (Stennett) Guildenstein.
Betty loved spending time with her children and grand children. She married Frank Salciccioli on February 14, 1953 in Detroit, MI. They moved to Gladwin in 1972. They opened the White Star Motel in 1978. She was a member of the Secord Eagles for many years. She loved playing bingo, cards and going to the Casinos.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Frank Salciccioli of Gladwin, MI; children, Joseph (Greg Ganssley) Salciccioli of Madison Heights, MI; Tina Salciccioli of Gladwin, MI and Toni (Torrey) David of Gladwin, MI. 2 grandchildren, Michael Becker and Zena David. Brother, Paul (Paulette) Gleason of Sterling Heights, MI; 2 sisters, Karen (Ross) Siegler of St. Petersburg, FL and Juanita (Chuck) Smith of Jackson, MI and Taffy her dog.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at the Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of services. In following her wishes cremation will take place following the funeral services.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to the Mid-Michigan Hospice.
