Betty E. Ankney 76 passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at West Branch Regional Medical Center, West Branch, MI. She was born on September 14, 1936 in Vassar, Michigan to the late Steven and Margaret (Marx) Marovich. She married Grover Ankney on July 21, 1956 in Flint, MI. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2010. Betty was a member of the Secord Lake Eagles #4121 Auxiliary and Our Savior Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing pool and going to the casino.
She is survived by three daughters Rebecca Kesson, Sue (John) Beck, Debra (Kole) Myers, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother Steve Marovich and two sisters Margaret Somerville and Nancy (Bob) Kloph.
In accordance with Betty’s wishes cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Secord Lake Eagles #4121 on Saturday December 15, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Secord Lake Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
