Obituary for Betty Perry Walaskay
Betty Perry Walaskay, age 97, of Hillsdale, MI, formerly of Gladwin, MI, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 18, 2010. She was born on September 15, 1912 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Hornack) Kucsera. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Perry, husband John Walaskay, daughter Barbara Perry and granddaughter Melodie Triplett. She is survived by her daughter Sue (Jim) Lucas and son Michael (Betsy) Perry; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Dorais officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be in Butman Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to the Good News Camp or the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
