Bruce BerBerick, age 96, passed peacefully on Saturday, February 10 at Gladwin Nursing and
Rehabilitation Community. Bruce was born in Royal Oak, MI on February 20, 1921 to the late Oscar and Edna (Kramer) Birberick. On February 7, 1948 he married Eleanore Rudel. She preceded him in death on October 25, 2007 after 59 years of marriage. At retirement in 1983, Mr. BerBerick closed Harmony Homes, his manufactured housing sales business. Bruce and Eleanore left Rochester and retired to their home on the river in Gladwin. Together they traveled and spent time enjoying many creative hobbies. Bruce loved fishing, hunting, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Bruce is survived by four children: Scott BerBerick, Sherry Valade, Colleen (Mike) Boyle, and Bonnie Jameson. Five grandchildren: Dan Mobley, Dennis Valade, Jody Jameson, Wendy (Larry) Dugan, and Jeremy Jameson. Four great grandchildren: Alec Dugan, Ferris Dugan, Brittany Mobley, and Archer Jameson.Family who preceded Bruce were a son, Wayne BerBerick, a granddaughter, Tanya BerBerick, and his four brothers, Patrick, Donald, Alvin, and John. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 4pm, the time of the funeral service at Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin.
