Mr. MacDonald 69 passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday March 21, 2013 following a brief illness. He was born in Bay City on August 10, 1943 to the late Donald Bruce & Norma (Smith) McDonald. Bruce had a great love for music and owned the Beaverton Music Center (BMC) for several years . Bruce was recently elected to the Beaverton City Council and was retired from the Gladwin County Sheriff Department where he served as Undersheriff. He was a fireman collector and a strong supporter & life member of the NRA. He is survived by a son Duncan McDonald of California and a close friend Kerry Posey and family. Bruce’s request was that there be no services and cremation. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Beaverton Community Building Fund.
