Obituary for Carl C Hanson
Our Lord, Jesus reclaimed Carl C. Hanson on Sunday morning, October 20th, 2013.
Carl was 83 years old and born to Grace and Herman Hanson. He grew up and raised his family in Ypsilanti, MI. He married Jean L. Hanson on May 27th 1953. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years and moved to Beaverton, MI in 1990. He has been a member of the “Cruising Classics Car Club” of Gladwin and the Radio Controlled Airplane Club of Gladwin for many years. He was a sportsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, golfing and his many travels over the years. He loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years. He leaves behind his five children, Deborah Jean Hanson Engel and her Husband Ken, Carl C. Hanson II, Robert J. Hanson and his wife Cathy, Bernard J. Hanson and his Wife Debbie, Julie A. Rotondo and her husband Ralph,his two grand children, Corey J. Hanson and Kyle J. Hanson, his two great-grand children, Carrissa and Alex, and other family and friends. His wishes were for Cremation. His family is having a Service in celebration of his life on Saturday, October 26th at Sisson Funeral Home, 135 N. Silverleaf St, Gladwin, MI 48624 from 1-4 p.m. Service will start at 3:00 pm.
