Mr. Derr 52 passed way Wednesday November 7, 2012 at his home following a brief illness. HE was born in Massillon, Ohio on October 9, 1950 to the late Harold & Ardith (Blanchard) Derr.
Charles has resided in Gladwin since 1990, coming from Massillon, Ohio. Surving are his loving children which include a daughter Tonya & Delbert Early of Topinabee, three sons Charles (Anna Stillon) Derr Jr. of Beaverton, Timothy & Mandy Derr of Gladwin and Dustin Derr of Gladwin; ten grandchildren Taylor, Claudia, Kayla, Kyle, Ebany, Dawn, Evlyn, Isaac, Lilly and Gaberiel; step mother Marie Derr of Massillon, Ohio; one sister Vivan & Butch Woods of Kansas City, Missouri and a brother Harold Derr Jr. of Highlandville, Missouri as well as many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Harold Derr Sr. his mother Aridth Ex and one sister Sharlene Sanders.
Funeral Services will be held Monday November 12, 2012 at 2pm from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Reynolds presiding with burial in Butman Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10 am until time of services.  A dinner will be held immediately following the services at the Butman Township Hall 505 N. Hockaday Rd., Gladwin, MI In Lieu of flowers the family has asked memorial contributions in memory of Charles may be made to the Derr Family.
