Christiana S. Nash, born March 6, 1922 in Huberston,
Michigan, died at her home in Beaverton, December 15, 2013. Her husband Earl J.
Nash, predeceased her on December 25, 1992. They were married in 1947. She became
a member of the Brethren Church in 1958.
Her parents were Leon and Anna Loucks. She had one brother
Harvey Lee all of Bloomer Township, Montcalm County.
Christiana worked as a clothier in a clothing goods store in
Beaverton and was a secretary to Miles and Benchley Construction. The Chris and
Earl Ceramics Shop, which they operated for 20 years, allowed many community
members hours of society and creativity.
She is survived by 3 nieces, Bonnie Howard, Barb Benedict
and Betty Beckham, all of Midland and a special thank you to Linda Schoonover a
friend and caregiver, for her devotion and support toward Christiana.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at Sisson Funeral
home in January a day and time to be announced later. Those wishing an
expression of sympathy are asked to consider Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund or
the Beaverton Brethren Church.
