Beaverton, Michigan

Mr. Wagner 75 passed away Wednesday June 27, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital with his family at his side following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Houghton, Michigan on July 23, 1936 to the late Clarence E. & Harriet (Paavo) Wagner. He was veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S Army serving his country. Babe was a barber for many years in the Gladwin County Area working a several different shops and at home. He enjoyed his trips to the casino, hunting, fishing, dancing in his younger years and a member of the Albright Shores Eagles.
He is survived by his 3 sisters Joyce Little & friend Harley, Barbara & Ted Bobrowski and Judith Cogley; a brother Robert & Donna Wagner; a sister in law Maryann Wagner and many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his Brother Edward J. Wagner.
Committal & Military Honors will be held Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 1: 30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, Michigan. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society for Relay of life Team Rally for Rylie. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home a Veterans Funeral care Provider on behalf of a grateful nation.
