Miss Kemp 71 passed away Saturday July 5, 2014 at MidMichigan Gladwin Pines following a brief illness. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 17, 1943, the daughter of Clarence G. and Edith E. (Lundy) Kemp. Connie was raised in Berkley, Michigan were she attended school. Later in life she lived in Port St. Lucie, Florida for 19 years and returning to Michigan in 1992. She enjoyed collecting her dolls, playing cards (especially winning!), crafts and drawing as well as watching her favorite Soaps on TV.
Connie is survived by her mother Edith Kemp, a sister Judy A. McRoberts (Kjorstad) and Judy’s son William R. (Sharon) McRoberts. Her brother Richard G. (Susan) Kemp and his children Susan (Jeff) Kelley, Michael R. Kemp and Kristine (Alex) Yeremin, also her great-nephews William C. McRoberts and Brennan Kelley and great nieces Cassandra McRoberts, Megan Kelley and Evelyn Yeremin. Connie was preceded in death by her father Clarence. She is loved and will be missed by all.
A private committal service was held by her family, with internment in Butman Township Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
