Mr. Brushaber, 88 passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Lighthouse Nursing Center following a brief illness. He was born on September 28, 1928 to the late Charlie & Jennie (Latta) Brushaber. He married the former Shirley Krueger on August 19, 1948 in Newport, Kentucky, she survives him. Darwin was a retired real estate appraiser- broker, a member of White Deer Golf Course and Mid-Forest Lodge of Prudenville. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Shirley Brushaber of the Brook of Gladwin, their son Eric Brushaber of Royal Oak and a sister Fame Groves of Swartz Creek. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, a son Alan Brushaber and a sister Wilma Lohman.
In honoring his wishes cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at Highland Cemetery.
