Obituary for David L. Thompson
Dave L. Thompson, age 57, of Beaverton, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, MI. He was born July 13, 1953 in Lansing, MI, the son of the late Harold and Joann (Munson) Thompson.
Dave was a heavy equipment operator all of his life and took pride in his work. He loved working on old cars and fishing. Dave also loved watching Nascar races

He was preceded in death by his Father In Law Carl Evans; Brother In Law Steven Schultz.
He is survived by his wife Donna Thompson of Beaverton, MI; Sisters, JoEllen Vincent, Janet Thompson and Uncle Gary (Anna) Munson.  Sister In Laws, Geri Schultz of Midland, MI; Jackie Pongracz of Beaverton, MI; Diane (Mark) Rabideau of Midland, MI and Margaret (John) Lyons of Beaverton, MI. Mother In Law, Margaret Evans of Beaverton, MI. Brother In Law, Dennis Pongracz of Beaverton, MI. Many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. His Cats; Tiger, Stella, Potts, Tessa and Squeak.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Agnes Catholic Church, 2500 West River Rd.,  Sanford, MI. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 2-9 PM and again on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 2-9 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7 PM on Sunday, at the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI. Interment will be in St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery.
