Obituary for Debi Lynn Kinch
Debi Lynn Kinch of Gladwin, Mi. passed away at Midland Hospital surrounded by family and friends on June 6, 2013. Debi was born April 2, 1958 in Saginaw, Mi. to the late James O. Ricketts Sr. and Esther Porter. Debi married David Kinch on March 16, 1979 and lived in Gladwin most of her adult life.
Debi is survived by three children: Jennifer Davis (Matt), Davina Cochrane (Jeff), and David Kinch Jr (Jessica); her sister Tina Urbaniak (Andy), and brothers Dennis Porter (Shannon) and James Ricketts Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Veronica, Katherine, Matthew, Trinity, Devin, Aeden, and Trevor; step-grandchildren Brittney and Victoria; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and many young men and women who grew up with Debi and looked up to her as a "second mom." Debi was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Mike Porter.
Debi was a loving wife and will be greatly missed as a mother, grandmother, and most of all, a friend.
Visitation with family will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 15, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 3pm with a luncheon to follow at the Gladwin First United Methodist Church, 309 S M18 in Gladwin, Mi. Arrangements entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
