Mrs. Nolph 90 passed away Sunday May 31, 2015 at her home following a brief illness. She was born in Harrison on December 21, 1924 to the late John & Stella (Salisbury) Burnette. She married Charles Nolph on June 29, 1946 in Harrison, he preceded her in death on November 13, 2005. They owned and operated the Nolph Resort and lived in Harrison for 37 years on Little Long Lake. She liked gardening and watching birds.
She is survived by her children: William Nolph and Nancy & Clayton Hanson; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother John “Jack” Burnette and a sister Lillian Poulton.
In honoring her wishes cremation will take place and a family gathering will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
