Obituary for Dessie M. Phillips
Dessie M. Phillips, age 86, of Gladwin, MI, formerly of Utah, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2011 at the Mid-Michigan Medical-Gladwin Pines. She was born January 18, 1925 in Shakota, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late William and Lenora (Mills) Martin.
She was preceded in death by her son Dennis Watterson.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years George Phillips of Gladwin, MI; children, Curtis (Jolene) Phillips of Watterson, CA; Vannessa Allen of Utah, Illenna (Charles) McClure of Gladwin, MI and Kevin Phillips of CA. Brother Bill (Velma) Martin of CA and Sister Faye Barber of Tennessee.
In accordance with Dessie’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be services held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
