Dick Allen Baker “Al” 86, passed away on October 7, 2015 at his home with his family by his side following a brief illness. He was born on August 30, 1929 to the late James and Dora (Babcock) Baker in Grand Blanc Township. He married the former Vivian C. Miller on June 14, 1955 in Angola, Indiana, she survives him. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Fisher Body Grand Blanc then moved to Gladwin where he enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, water sports, watching the Tigers and Spartan Basketball.
He is survived by three children Richard and Barbara Allen, Randy James Baker, Theresa and Dennis Church, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and one sister Nancy Firestone. He is predeceased by two brothers Roy Baker and Thomas Baker.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Butman Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
