Douglas Fredrick Matteson age 44, of Gladwin passed away at his home on June 14, 2016. He was born March 14, 1973 in Flint, Michigan to the late Richard and Diane (Batton) Matteson Jr. Doug worked many years for his friend Walter, owner of Walter’s Car and Carpet Cleaning. He also volunteered with his father and a good friend Mike Fournier for Clement Township Fire Department.
Doug is survived by his devoted sister Angelia whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his 3 children Diane, Jessie and Faith, two step daughter’s Brianna, Jasmin and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In accordance with Doug’s wishes cremation has taken place and no service is being planned.
Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider his sister Angelia Matteson.
