Obituary for Eleanor Jean Woodgate
Eleanor Jean Woodgate, age 87, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was born June 28, 1923 in Imlay City, MI, the daughter of the late John and Janet (Bowers) Shook.
Eleanor loved spending time with her family and friends, animals especially her dogs and watching the birds.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Woodgate in 2001; son James Woodgate in 2003; 4 Brothers and 5 Sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Woodgate of Birmingham, MI; 2 grandchildren, Amy Hinman of Birmingham, MI and Terry (Carrie) Hinman of Pleasant Ridge, MI. Special friends, Nancy (Neal) Kleiss of Gladwin, MI.
In accordance with the families wishes there will be a private Graveside Service held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
