Obituary for Eleanor L. Southwell
Eleanor L. Southwell, age 79, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at her home with her family by her side. She was born February 27, 1931 in Isabella County the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Wyant) McWilliams. She worked many years as a Special Education Teacher and Program Coordinator for Bay and Saginaw Counties. Since her retirement she has lived in Gladwin. She was a volunteer for more than 20 years with V.I.G.O.R of Gladwin and other community activities. She was preceded in death by her sister Eileen Dibble. She is survived by her husband Grenvul “Buck” Southwell of Gladwin, MI; her children, Calvin (Beth) Southwell of Prudenville, MI; Peggy (Andrew) Miceli of Gladwin, MI; Dawn (Michael Christenson) West of Bay City, MI and Pamela Southwell of Gladwin, MI. 10 Grandchildren, Stacey Southwell, Amy Citko, Casey Cadieux, Cory Cadieux, Kevin West, Colleen McCarthy, Sara Miceli-Sorensen, Anthony Miceli, Ebon Simmons and Pamela (P.J.) Simmons. 8 great grandchildren, Zachery, Neal, Maura, Claire, Sofia, Ella, Sydney and Aisia Dre. In accordance with Eleanor’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Eleanor to V.I.G.O.R.
