Mrs. Palumbo 83 passed away Thursday July 20, 2017 at Providence Park Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Flint, Michigan on January 11, 1934 to the late Roy & Lenore (DeShano) Olson Betty married Ralph Palumbo and joined him as a military wife for fifty years until his death in 2009. She was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her children Helen & Alan McLaughlin, Maryanne & William Jr. Huck, Ralph Russell Palumbo Jr., Michael Palumbo; grandchildren Janet, William II, Eric, Adam, Ryan,; great grandchildren A.J., Annie: Sister Helen Richardson and Vera & Charles McEvoy.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 3 pm from Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. J. Marcel Portelli presiding with burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan. Family will be present at the church from 1 pm until time of mass. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
