
Obituary for Elmer P. Kerblewski
Elmer P. Kerblewski, age 91, a resident of Gladwin, passed away on Friday, October 14th at the Horizon Senior Center in Clare. He was born on June 22, 1926 in Selkirk, Michigan, the son of Thomas and Josephine Kerblewski and was raised on a farm in West Branch. He graduated from West Branch High School in 1953. He was a proud veteran of the US Army and was employed at Dow Chemical for many years. He loved woodworking, farming, fishing, hunting, tractors, cooking, volunteering, music and dancing. He was preceded in death by his wife Onalee. Dear father of Denise Cary and Brenda Ross Loving grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 2. Brother of Alberta Gage and the late Theresa Yates. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 2-8pm at the Sisson Funeral Home, 135 N. Silverleaf, Gladwin. A Knights of Columbus Rosary will be held 7pm Friday. In state Saturday 10am until 11am, the time of the funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, Gladwin. Interment with military honors will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
