Mrs. Stickel 90 passed away peacefully Saturday July 9, 2011 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Gladwin County on August 15, 1920 to the late Claire & Esther (Hayward) Edick. She married William Stickel on March 11, 1946 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1989. She worked at several business in the Gladwin as a telephone operator. She enjoyed collecting antiques but her greatest joy was being able to help people and her family.
She is survived by her son Craig & Yoshie; grandson Douglas; stepson Bill; a sister in law Betty Edick and a longtime friend Floyd Cingano. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Lawrence & Katie Edick and Richard Edick.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Alexander presiding with burial in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 am until time of services.
