Mrs. Wright 85 joined Our Savior on Monday December 15, 2014 following a brief illness. She was born in Oberlin, Michigan on March 13, 1929 to the late Richard & Olga (Krause) Endert. Baptized and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Oberlin. She graduated from Gladwin High School with honors in 1946. She taught Sunday school, was active in the choir and played the piano for the church for 15 years until moving to Union City. She retired from the department of Corrections after 30 years as an Executive Secretary to the District Supervisor.
She was a loving, caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a great sense of humor yet her spunky spit-fire attitude allowed her to always speak her mind. She loved knitting, crocheting, word searches and being outdoors taking care of her yard and her birds.
She is survived by her daughter Karen & Jerry Krigner, three grandchildren Kelly & Wade Kralapp, Todd & Brandi Krigner and Noelle & Ron Leggitt and three great grandchildren Briar, Kyla and Vincent; 2 sisters Dorothy Babcock and Frieda & Edwin Gatz, also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son Ronald, ex-husband Jack, three Sisters Helen & Joe Spross, Elsie& Lewis Strohkirch, and Mildred & Bob Simon, infant brother Richard and a brother-in-law Don Babcock.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday December 21, 2014 at 2 pm from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor James Krach presiding with burial in McClure Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 am until time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Our Savior Lutheran Church of Union City or Gladwin.
