Mrs. Rhines 81 passed away Wednesday March 21, 2012 at Ingham County Medical Center following a lingering illness. She was born in Gladwin on March 28, 1930 to the late Dewey & Inez (Molesworth) Bruner. She married Robert Ridley on November 4, 1950 at McClure United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death in 1977. She married Kenneth Rhines on August 26, 1993 at New Covenant Church in Fowlerville, he survives her. She was retired from Michigan State University. She is survived by her children Mary Myers, Karen Denney, Paula & Ronald Rhines, Sandra & Jerry Cruson and Patricia & Jerry Rhines. She has 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is predeceased by brothers Robert Dewey Bruner and George Henry Bruner both formerly of Gladwin and Sisters Vera Louise (Elmer) Grove and Inez Nancy (Earl) Mills both formerly of Gladwin. She is survived by brothers Charles Elmer Bruner of Mason, MI and Lawrence Edward Bruner of Webberville, MI. Sisters Elpha Grace (Glenden) Murray, Frances June (Glen) Day both of Gladwin, MI and Ellen Joyce (Norman) Shippley, Vestaburg, MI. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012, 1 pm at Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Day presiding. Burial will follow in McClure Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm and Saturday from 11 am until time of service.
