Obituary for Frederick Raymond Isham
Frederick Raymond Isham, age 72, of Gladwin, MI, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 18, 2010. He was born February 14, 1938 in Eskdale, West Virginia the son of the late Benjamin and Josephine (Meadows) Isham.
Fred served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Sharon Isham in 2008.
He is survived by his Brother Clyde B. Isham of St. Petersburg, FL. Brother in law David (Frances) Thompson of Clio, MI; 2 sisters in laws; Janice Miller of Gladwin, MI and Dorothy Morse of West Branch, MI. Several nieces and nephews. Special friends Carolyn (Chuck) Henning of Gladwin, MI.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 from 1-4 P.M. at the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI with military honors at 4:00 P.M. Interment will be in Beaverton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Fred to the Gladwin Public Schools or the American Cancer Society.
