She is survived by three children; Sharill (Darrell) McGuire of Gladwin and Florida, Jeanne (Ron) Rhoades of Gladwin and Florida, and Mel (Fay) Bellinger of Saginaw and Gladwin; five grandchildren; Malissa (Jim) Kaiser of West Olive, Mary Jo McGuire (Ivan Byler) of Clare, Kirk (Lisa) McGuire of Coldwater, Jeff (Lisa) Rhoades of Coldwater, and Jon (Lori) Bellinger of Sanford; 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. Surviving also are two brothers; Ronald (Thelma) Garber of Gladwin, Laurence (Barbara) Garber of Rochester Hills, one sister; Marilyn (Leo) Atkinson of West Olive, and a dear cousin Esther Rumminger.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by one brother and sister-in-law, Leslie and Carolyn Garber; brothers and sisters-in-law; Richard and Lucille Swinehart, Ervin and Marion Reinburg, Dean and Helen Ogg, Fred Mowrey, and one grandson Matthew Rhoades.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin on Saturday July, 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with a memorial visitation being held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at church, and internment of the ashes will be in the Ridge Cemetery. Visitation with Geneva’s family will take place following the service. Arrangements were entrusted to the Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Geneva’s name to Our Savior Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
