Obituary for George H. Foust
Mr. George H. Foust, age 88, a resident of Gladwin passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2018 in Flushing, Michigan. He was born on February 27, 1930 in Gladwin, the son of Dwight and Irene Foust. Mr. Foust was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Wanda in February of this year. He is survived by his children Debra (Mike) Brown of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Kate (Mike) Best of Ramona, California and Jim (Carrie) Foust of Flushing. Mr. Foust was also survived by his loving 13 grand children and 16 great grandchildren and his siblings Roger (Pearl) Foust, Leobelle Saylor, Ruth Doyle and the late Zelfa Blummenthal, Hettie Scheurer and Marcene Rice. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 11th 2pm until 8pm at Sisson Funeral Home, 135 North Silverleaf, Gladwin. Additional visitation will take place on Saturday, May 12th from 12 noon until 1pm, the time of the funeral service at Emmanuel Baptist Church 3089 Pratt Lake Road, Gladwin with pastor Joseph Dorias officiating. Interment will follow at Grout Cemetery.
