Mrs. Gerrie Cejmer age 85, loving mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center. She was born on September 12, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to the late George & Marian (Ames) Lynch. She married Norbert on November 4, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. He predeceased her January 7, 2009. Geraldine was a member of sacred Heart Church she enjoyed playing cards, traveling around the world and going to the casino but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children Janice (Arl) Lamsa, David (Rosemary) Cejmer, Paula (Robert) Heck and Sheryl (Mike) Cook, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, and one sister Shirley (Glen) Seelbinder. She was predeceased by a son-in-law Arl Lamsa, a brother Paul (Diane) Lynch and a sister Joan (Ray) Zmijewski.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11 am from Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. J. Marcel Portelli Presiding with inurnment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sisson Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 8 pm. On Monday, Geraldine will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the Brook of Gladwin and the Nurses and Doctors of Mid-Michigan of Midland Hospital fifth floor for the compassionate care given. In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family’s wishes.


Visitation will be held Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 3-8 PM at Sisson Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 4, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
