Mr. Newby 91 Passed away at home on Friday March 15, 2019 following a lingering illness. He was born on January 5, 1928 in Lancaster, England to the late Harry & Hilda (Jeffery) Newby. He married the former Beulah A. Bagshaw on October 18, 1953 in Dalton-In-Fornace, England, she survives him. Gordon was retired from Ford Motor Company and moved to the Gladwin area several years ago.
Surviving besides his wife of 65 years are their children Kenneth & Alison Newby and Debra & John Snyder and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Kenneth and Donald Newby.
Honoring his wishes cremation will take place and he remains will be scattered at Druage Circle, Barsea, England. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
