Mrs. Schindler 92 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday June 30, 2016 at Heavenly Homestead following a lingering illness. She was born in Gladwin on December 16, 1923 to the late David & Harriette (Molesworth) Anderson. She married the love of her life Arthur Schindler whom she met at her first teaching job at North Sage School, on August 5, 1944 at the Gladwin Round lake Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2002. She was a charter member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, the Ladies Aid, the Gladwin Farm Bureau & Home Extension Services and the Gladwin Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid reader and her family will cherish the memory of her reciting poetry.

She is survived by her children Mary Sue & Steven Czape, Max & Gloria Schindler, Beth Benson and Barbara & Larry Lyons; grandchildren Julie, Matt & Tami, Chad & Kami, Todd & Stephanie and Bryan & Marybeth; step grandchildren Renee &Karl, Rachel and Roberta; great grandchildren Jadelyn, Hunter, Wade, Delilah, Cash, Tiberius and one on the way; step great grand children Mason, Calen and one on the way.; sister Rita Jean & Larry Hall and a brother Worth “Mike” & Nancy Anderson. She was preceded in death by a son Gary, granddaughter Sarah, a son in law Randy Benson, one brother and four sisters.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank you to the staff of Heavenly Homestead AFC for their wonderful and excellent care given to their mother during her time spent with them.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday July 7, 2016 at 12 Noon from the Gladwin Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Bradstreet with inurnment at Ridge Cemetery. On Thursday the family will be present at the church to receive friends from 11 am until time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Gladwin County Library or the Gladwin Cornerstone Baptist Church.



Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday July 7, 2016 at Cornerstone Baptist Church
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the time of service
