Gladwin, MichiganMrs Yeager 93 passed awa December 5, 2012 at Mid-Michigan Gladwin Pines Nursing Home following a long illness. She was born in Gladwin County on February 10, 1919 to the late William & Li Vina (Cripps) Ockerman. She married Alvin Yeager on June 1, 1935 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1984. She lived in Hockaday, Michigan most of her life. She was employed in later years at Sugar Springs and a member of the Hockaday Community Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking for her family.
She is survived by 2 sons Don & Marilyn Yeager of Coleman and Jerry & Gwen Yeager of West Wachee, FL; 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, daughter Margaret Myers, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
In honoring her wishes cremation will take place by the Sisson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date with Pastor Winston King presiding and inurnment in Butman Cemetery. Those wishing and expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Hockaday Community Church.
Graveside services are planned at a later date at Butman TownshipCemetery and no visitattion at the funeral home
