Mrs. Wittig 82 passed away Friday December 11, 2015 at her daughters following a lingering illness. She was born in Saginaw on May 17, 1933 to the late Charles & Genieve (Kreh) Peters. She married William Wittig Sr. on June 30 1957 and he preceded her in death in March of 2002. She was a devoted member of the Gladwin Nazarene Church and a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed knitting and reading her bible. She loved being with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Linda Drinkwine, Timbra & Steve Webber, Kathy & George Miller, Charles Wittig and William & Sherry Ratza Wittig; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren and a sister Dorine Glacier. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sally Wittig, a son Rodney Wittig, 2 grandchildren Kelly Drinkwine and Colleen Wittig; and 4 brothers.
Funeral Services will be held Monday December 14, 2015 at 1 pm from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Boyce presiding with burial in Sherman Twp. Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral Home on Sunday from 1 to 8 pm and Monday from 12 noon until time of services.
