Obituary for James V. Pennington
James V. Pennington
Alger, Michigan
Jim Pennington's strong will to live and pure enjoyment of this life reluctantly gave in to his body's desire for rest and peace on 10-23-16. Born Christmas day 1942, he joins his sisters Nancy and Carolyn and Brother George in watching over all those left behind who love him and will miss him.
Jim worked for General Motors for 42 years and retired in 2004 from Local 163 Romulus as a union representative. He is survived by his wife, Patty Pennington, sons Jim and Scott, and granddaughter Heather Pennington.
Being loved deeply by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply
gives you courage.
