Mrs. Bostick 84 passed away Thursday November 28, 2013 at Henry Ford Hospital following a brief illness. She was born Bay City on June 29, 1929 to the late Cyle L. & Helen C. (Shipman) Zettel. Jane grew up in Gladwin graduating from Gladwin High School in 1947 and graduated from the University of Michigan –College of Pharmacy in 1951. She married Kellard Bostick at Sacred Heart Church, Gladwin on August 27, 1964; he preceded her in death on July 17, 1989. Jane & Kellard owned the Bostick Pharmacy in Manton from 1946 to 1982 and retired to Gladwin & Zephyrhills, Florid. She was a member & Past President of the Gladwin Historical Society, member of Cadillac Business & Professional Women’s Club, Grand Traverse Bay Power Squadron, Michigan Pharmaceutical Assoc., Sacred Heart Church & a Eucharist Minister, and former member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Manton.
She is survived by her step children John & Julie Bostick and Jean Lovin; 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters;  and 6 great grand children; 2 sisters Margaret (George) Mitchell and Mary Simonson; 2 nieces and 7 nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Katherine Bostick, 2 brothers Charles & Richard Zettel; 2 sisters Barbara Zettel and Lucille Zettel and step mother Ruth Zettel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday December 4, 2013 at 11 am from Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Fr. John Cotter presiding with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Manton, Michigan. Friends may call at the Sisson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1 to 8 pm. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. On Wednesday Mrs. Bostick will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of Mass. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Gladwin County Historical Society, Manton Historical Society or charity of donor’s choice.

Vigil Service 7:30 pm
 Wednesday 10 am to 11 am at Sacred Heart Church
