Obituary for Jean Schoonover
Jean Schoonover, age 90, a long tine resident of Beaverton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gladwin. She was born on March 29, 1928 in Rochester, the daughter of Edward and Hazel Watson. Dear wife of Edward. Beloved mother of Marlyce (Bruce) Seidelman, Myrna Morrissey, Verndalene Ashley and the late Orville (Linda) Schoonover. Loving grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 23. Jean loved her family and especially the babies. She loved to cook, bake along with crafts, sewing, crocheting, knitting and camping. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2pm until 8pm at Sisson Funeral Home, 135 North Silverleaf, Gladwin. Additional visitation will take place on Monday from 10am until 11am, the time of the funeral service at the First United Methodist Church of Gladwin. Officiating will be Rev. Cheryl Mancier. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Memorials honoring her memory may be directed to the family. Sissonfuneralhome.com
