Jennie M. Myers 82, passed away on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at the Tendercare-Tawas City after a brief illness. She was born in West Branch on September 20, 1934 the daughter of the late Russell and Lavera (Cuddie) Diffin. On October 16, 1954 she married Perry E. Myers Jr. in Ogemaw County. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1983. Jennie worked in restaurant management at The Big Texan and the Howard Johnsons. She is survived by one son Perry Lee Myers of Missouri and Carol Dempsey of Texas, six grandchildren Michele (Rich) Palmateer, Jennifer Leiva, Christopher Dean, Lynnette Myers, Janette Myers, Nikki Myers six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three daughters Patricia Myers, Vicky Myers Dean and Jaquelyn Myers, five brothers Alex, Russell, Lloyd, Floyd and John Diffin, three sisters Mary Klein-Sian, Euphemia Gasche and Josephine (Jo) Boman. Honoring Jennie’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jennie's life will be held at 2:00 PM on August 12, 2017 at the Secord Township Hall,1831 Secord Dam Road, Gladwin, MI 48624. Please bring a dish to pass and all volunteers are asked to arrive at 1:00 PM. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
