Obituary for Jennie H.. Bond
Jennie A. Bond, 90, of Gladwin, passed away on Thursday December 14, 2017 at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center Gladwin Pines. She was a close friend of Richard Duby of Gladwin.
She was born on December 9, 1927 to the late Stanley and Mary (Watson) Cole of Tornto, Ontario. Jennie was a veteran of the Canadian Women’s Army Corps from 1943 – 1945. She moved to the United States in 1955 to East Detroit then in 1968 moved to Elbow Lake in Harrison and in 1998 relocated to Gladwin. Jennie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3292, Gladwin. Jennie was the loving mother of Richard (Sandi) Howe, Carol (Doug) Niebergal, Linda Pederson and the late William Bond. Also surviving are grandchildren: Jason (Tracy) Howe, Robin (Mike) McCollin, Barbara Howe, Richard (Michelle) Niebergal, Shannon (Mike), Krystina (Justin), Scott (Jenny) Bond, Steve Bond, Tony Colanoleo, Margaret Colanoleo and numerous great grand children
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 11:00AM at the Gladwin Church of Christ with Pastor Tony Reynolds officiating with inurnment at a later date at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
