Obituary for Jennie M. Cook
Jennie M. Cook, age 104, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Mid-Michigan Gladwin Pines Nursing Center. She was born February 13, 1906 in Munger, MI, the daughter of James and Mary (VanOoteghem) Casey. Jennie moved to Gladwin in 1947. She was a devoted mother. She loved singing, baseball and telling jokes. She was a faithful member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish since 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Raymond, Brother James, Sisters Ruth Seaman and Eva Harbow, and grandson Robert Greaves. She is survived by her children, MaryAnn (Richard) Fassett of Beaverton, MI; Patricia (James) Greaves of Gladwin, MI; James (Marilyn) Cook of Gladwin, MI and Kathleen (Richard) Cassiday of Gladwin, MI. 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John Cotter officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 2-8 P.M. with a scripture service at 4:00 P.M. at Sisson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
