Obituary for Jerry L. Taylor
Jerry L. Taylor, age 61, of Gladwin, MI, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Gladwin. He was born December 10, 1949 in Gladwin, MI, the son of the late Judson and Margaret (Lewis) Taylor.
Jerry loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time in Upper Peninsula fishing on Lake Superior, riding his Kawasaki Mule.
He is survived by his wife Connie Taylor of Gladwin, MI; children, Gerald (Rachel) Witmer of Gladwin, MI and Vicki Witmer of Gladwin, MI. Grandchildren, Jovani Witmer; Anthony Witmer; Erica Pettinaro; Danielle Athey and Christopher Athey. Great granddaughter, Makennah Witmer. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Sisters, Jane (Jim Rothfuss) Taylor of New Jersey; Joy (Dan) Grogg of California and Judy (Gene) Raymond of Gladwin, MI.  His dog Lady.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Beaverton, MI, with Rev. Karen Blatt officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 2-8 P.M. at the Sisson Funeral Home and again on Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
