Joan 71 passed away peacefully at her home on Friday December 24, 2010 following brief illness. She was born in Taylor on November 2, 1939 to the late Raul & Irene (Boyer) Mailloux. Joan worked as a physical therapist assistant in California before coming to Beaverton.
She is survived by a son Matthew & Lynda Kersey, 2 daughter Jennie & James Mellon and Jerri Ann Kersey; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters Kay Lohner and Janet Sherburne; a friend Linda Miller. She was preceded in death by a son Michael and a sister Ilene Bradford.
Joan request there will be no services and cremation has taken place. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Heartland Hospice of West Branch, Michigan.
