Obituary for JoAnn R. Dougherty
On Monday, September 17, 2018, JoAnn Dougherty, age 57, passed away peacefully with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
Born in Midland, Michigan on October 12, 1960, JoAnn spent her days as a giving soul and a hardworking woman before falling ill to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). She took great pride in watching her two children grow into successful adults and start beautiful families of their own. JoAnn loved country music, singing karaoke, playing practical jokes, working on crochet projects, drawing, writing poetry, doing puzzles and reading the Bible. Her loved ones will miss her contagious laugh.
JoAnn leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children Jennifer (Travers) Shuster and Justin (Hannah) Mollsen. She will also be fondly remembered by her four precious grandchildren Camille, TJ, Jocelyn and Katarina Shuster. JoAnn is also survived by her sister Sharon (Larry) Stock.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Goldie Dougherty and her brothers Greg, Randy and Pat Dougherty.
JoAnn’s family would like to thank Heavenly Homestead, of Gladwin, for the loving care provided to her over the last few years.
A private memorial is planned for her immediate family members.
