Obituary for John L. Sparkman
John L. Sparkman, age 82, a resident of Gladwin, passed away peacefully at his home on July 25, 2018. He was born on May 6, 1936 in Malden, Missouri the son of John and Erma Sparkman. Mr. Sparkman was employed as a carpenter and truck driver for many years. He loved spending time hunting and with his horses and motorcycles. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Gladwin. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dear father of Joy Krell, Matthew “Sparky” (Joanne) Sparkman and Gaylene (Frank) Hardenburgh. Loving grandfather of Allison, Frankie and Sarah. Also survived by his sister Margie Hardy. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 30 from 11am until 3pm, the time of the service at Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Bradstreet officiating. Memorials honoring his memory may be directed to Leukemia Research.
