John Wentworth Jr. 61, passed away on Friday February 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. John was born on December 22, 1956 in Flint to the late John Sr and Ida (Martin) Wentworth. He married the former Debra Cannon on September 2, 2000. John owned White Doves of Gladwin. He also raised honey bees, emus, and had raised many horses in the past.
Surviving besides his wife are his five children Marie (Merle) Sellers of Manistique, Karri (Robert) Gagan of West Branch, Shannon Wentworth of Flint, John (Jack) (Anastacia) Wentworth III of Davison, Barbara Wentworth (Jason Duquette) of Toledo OH; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brothers Mike (Vivian) Wentworth of Summer, Steve (Becky) Wentworth of Harrison, and Dan Wentworth. Sister Terry (Chuck) Johnson and a sister-in-law Toni Wentworth all of Gladwin. Also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Jim and two sisters Kathy Briggs and Shelly Wentworth.
Cremation as taken place, a celebration on John’s life will be on Saturday February 10, 2018 at the Eagles Hall in Gladwin at Noon with Pastor Don Smith presiding. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial for family wishes.
