June A. Donahue 75, passed away on March 30, 2016 at her home with her family by her side following a lingering illness. She was born in Gladwin, MI on March 3, 1941 the daughter of Mark G. and Ethal (Thomas) Sharp. June married Jim Donahue at the Gladwin Baptist Church on August 29, 1959. She worked as a secretary in the dental field. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, camping fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
June is survived by her husband Jim, one daughter Joni and Jeff Holly and one son Todd and Michelle Donahue, five grandchildren Shane Holly, Jessica Holly, Luke Holly, Sarah Donahue, Cody Donahue, seven great grandchildren, her mother Ethal Emrick, two sisters Dorothy and John Foor, Linda and Chuck Newman, one brother Tom and Janet sharp. Besides her father she is predeceased by her sister and brother in law Phyllis and Russ Allen.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Saturday April 2, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church, West Branch, Michigan with Pastor Thomas Teall officiating with burial immediately following at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Friday at Sisson Funeral Home and on Saturday from 10 am until the time of service.
Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Mid-Michigan Hospice. Arrangements were entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Sisson Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be held on April 2, 2016 at 11:00 at Calvary Baptist church, West Branch, MI
