Mrs. Duby 61 passed away Saturday July 15, 2017 at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Saginaw on January 26, 1956 to the late Jack & Ruth (Teague) Reinig. She married Richard (Curly) Duby on June 15, 1981 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2004. Kathie worked as a waitress in the several restaurants in the area. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her home and especially decorating for the holidays. Kathie’s greatest love was her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Richard Duby Jr. and Shannon Duby & fiancée Jerrod Hall; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; her siblings Paul Reinig, Jack & Karen Reinig, Mark & Irene Reinig, Norm & Ann Reinig, Shelia & Dick Stockford, Randy & Beth Reinig, Darren Reinig, Lauri Eckerd. She was preceded in death by a sister Karen & Jake Quirante and a brother in law Russ Eckerd.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 7 pm from the Sisson Funeral Home. Family will be present at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm to greet friends and family.
