Mr. Mester 72 passed away Thursday April 19, 2012 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Midland following a brief illness. He was born in Coleman on November 16, 1939. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines and was an employee at McDonald’s of Gladwin. He was a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church and a former firefighter for the Gladwin Rural Fire Department. His greatest joy was being with his wife of 22 years and his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife the former Tammy Lambert whom he married on August 7, 1989 in Gladwin, their children Christopher Mester & Fiance Jessica Hicks and Amanda Lynne & William Schultz; grandchildren Brennen Lee Mester, Audrey Rose Olsen and Kassidy Lynne Schultz and his faithful dog Duke.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday April 27, 2012 at 11 am at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the wishes of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Sisson Funeral Home.
